Swingers

It's been a bizarre-o weekend for some of us, dear Readers (and I say 'Readers' because oddly enough, there is more than one of you out there who has told me a similar story). I know you're feeling as though it will never get worse than this. But I promise you--I promise you--it will only get better. I am living proof of such betterness, although I myself have had my ups and downs (as BG has proof in the form of my whiny text messages... Sorry about that, BG *blush*).

Someone once told me the movie "Swingers" got them through a nasty break-up. I thought he was being ridiculous. Vince Vaughn? Burger? Vegas? But let me tell you, it's an hour and a half well spent. This scene in particular:

Try it. You'll like it. Because you're both "the money".

And for those of you I can't hug in person: ({{{{hug}}}})

I was feeling a little down today (so much to do and I'm sick...again) and then I watched the show "My First Home" on TLC and felt better. Seeing normal people with serious problems (bankruptcy, disabilities, etc.) makes you realize all that you have. And those little people on TLC...they're building Molly a castle and they're only three feet tall. They seem so happy...and they're midgets. I'm glad that I'm not a midget.

Whatever you do, don't talk to Fingers about liking the midgets. She is a total midget-hater. It's really awkward, you know, like at parties and stuff... When there's midgets there...

...I'm just say'in, is all...

And I don't think I need to reiterate my love for the Little People on TLC (see 11/25/2006). I'm glad to see someone else finally appreciating them... Gawd...
